A Unit Manager in insurance oversees a team of insurance agents or representatives, manages operations within their unit, and ensures the achievement of sales targets and operational goals. This role involves leadership, strategic planning, and a focus on both sales performance and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Management: Recruit, train, and supervise insurance agents or representatives. Provide ongoing support and motivation to ensure high performance.
Sales Performance: Develop and implement strategies to meet or exceed sales targets. Monitor team performance and provide feedback to improve sales results.
Operational Oversight: Oversee day-to-day operations within the unit, including adherence to company policies and procedures.
Customer Service: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing issues, resolving complaints, and ensuring agents provide excellent service.
Market Analysis: Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and adjust strategies accordingly.
Reporting: Prepare and present reports on team performance, sales results, and operational issues to higher management.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with insurance regulations, company policies, and ethical standards.

Education: Bachelor’s degreeExperience: Previous experience in insurance sales or management in other industries, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing teams.Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
