Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable PHP code primarily using the Laravel framework.
- Work closely with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Write clean, well-documented, and performant code following best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications.
- Implement and manage database schemas (e.g., MySQL) and ensure optimal performance.
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs for integration with other services.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in web development.
- Strong proficiency in PHP and the Laravel framework (versions 8+ preferred).
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
- Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript libraries/frameworks (e.g., Vue.js, React, or similar) is a plus.
- Proficiency in database management systems, particularly MySQL.
- Experience with version control tools, especially Git.
- Familiarity with deployment processes and DevOps concepts is beneficial.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
