This is an entry-level position requiring close supervision in performing tasks in the analysis, design, and implementation of HCM Solution and other projects, from implementation through delivery.

Analyzes current and future business needs in relation to system application requirements, identifies potential gaps, evaluates options, and ensures delivery of solutions. Works with diverse business units

and customers to gather requirements. Configures and develops the system to meet those needs in collaboration with Functional, Technical,

Quality Assurance and Operations teams. Responsible in the testing of the system and assures its effectiveness and accuracy.

Performs the following tasks, under close supervision and mentoring of the Project or Team Lead:

Project Analysis and Design

  • Conducts the scoping activity with the client, i.e., probing, asking of questions clarifying to meet the client needs.

  • Discusses the standard system and services being offered by HCX and presents the best practice as a solution to clients.

  • Discusses with the client and documents the detailed description of the requirements, procedures, problems, and issues to deliver what is expected by the client.

  • Analyzes the documented business needs to identify the gaps that would require customization of the system, in consultation with the Team Lead.

  • Assists the client in determining the “must-have” items from the gaps list to come up with the desired state of the system and / or process.

Project Implementation

  • Configures the required setups or solutions using HCX's Project Implementation Methodology.

  • Writes functional specifications for new applications or enhancements to existing applications.

  • Works closely with Functional, Technical, Support and Operations teams to ensure understanding of the business user requirements.

  • Prepares project deliverables for review and signoff of stakeholders throughout the project life cycle.

  • Develops program/solution based on functional/technical designs using HCX’s standards and procedures.

  • Writes unit test documents and executes test cases.

  • Delivers procedures and performs testing of the system for proper turnover to the client.

    a. Prepares and / or obtains test data for functional and client testing.

    b. Documents the issues encountered during system testing and coordinates with the appropriate teams on the findings documented in the Issues Log.

    c. Ensures resolution and closure of findings documented in the Issues Log.

  • Ensures system usability, accuracy, and completeness of the business flow during workshops or systems testing.

  • Provides status reports and updates to their Team Lead / Project Manager on a timely basis.

Training and Change Management

  • Creates training materials to serve as guide for the client.

  • Conducts training of the assigned module/solution to the client, i.e., Admin Functionality and Self-Service as well as to the Production Support and Operations teams of HCX.

Production Support

  • Provides tier 2 support to all applications and assistance to all end users and identifies any issues in production.

  • Investigates and resolves problems encountered by the users on the functionality of the assigned module.

  • Documents all production applications and resolves all application issues and answers all requests.

  • Maintains effective relationships with various system administrators and development teams.

  • Participates in periodic meetings and maintains all applications for production and plan appropriate strategies.

Others

  • Reviews and updates processes to improve efficiency and to meet the changing needs of the organization.

  • Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Equivalent knowledge and a strong portfolio demonstrating relevant skills will also be considered.

  • Knowledgeable in HR and Payroll system

  • Knowledgeable in SQL

  • Experience in application maintenance support work

  • Familiar with ITIL process

  • Customer interaction experience

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines.
