Job Summary:

The Managed Services Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing all accounting services projects for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and project management and excellent communication and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all accounting services projects for clients, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results
• Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and monitor progress to ensure projects are completed within scope and budget
• Coordinate with clients to understand their accounting needs and provide recommendations for process improvements
• Lead and motivate project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration to achieve project goals
• Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, and escalate to senior management as needed
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and retention
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve project management processes and strategies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3 years of experience in project management (client-facing), preferably in the accounting or financial services industry
• at least 5 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Proficient in Project Management tools and Accounting software (Netsuite, Quickbooks, Xero, SAP, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices (GAAP or/and IFRS)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong leadership and team management abilities
• Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
