We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Japanese Restaurant Service Staff to join our team at Gannendo Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur. As a full-time or part-time team member, you will play a vital role in delivering an exceptional dining experience to our customers. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a vibrant and fast-paced restaurant environment.

What you'll be doing

1. Greeting and welcoming customers in a friendly and professional manner
2. Providing knowledgeable recommendations on our menu and guiding customers through their dining choices
3. Taking food and drink orders accurately and communicating them to the kitchen team
4. Serving food and beverages to customers in a timely and attentive manner
5. Ensuring the dining area is clean, well-stocked and maintained to the highest standards
6. Assisting with general restaurant duties as required
7. Assist Store Manager to handle operations independently

What we're looking for

1. Previous experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within the hospitality or food service industry and management scope
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
3. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
4. Knowledge of Japanese cuisine and culture would be an advantage
5. A positive, enthusiastic and team-oriented attitude
