PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
This role is part of the Finance Operations leadership team and will deliver oversight to ensure decisions made in the areas within the scope are compliant and consistent with worldwide procedures. The Manager is responsible for overseeing and directing the Account-to-Report processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE
Support ATR (Account-To-Report) operations and assist with project-related tasks.
Manage and execute general accounting processes (journals, allocations, monthly reporting, issue resolution).
Prepare and post journal entries and adjustments.
Analyze and reconcile Balance Sheet accounts.
Ensure compliance with financial key controls, policies, and regulations.
Recommend improvements to ensure accurate, complete, and timely accounting in compliance with applicable GAAP and policies.
Partner with stakeholders to ensure completeness, accuracy, and validity of financial data.
Provide sound financial advice, support, and technical expertise to team members and business partners.
Support the team lead in monitoring tasks using Blackline Task and facilitating team huddles.
QUALIFICATIONS
A minimum of a bachelor’s level degree or equivalent is required, preferably in accounting or finance
CPA, CMA, MBA and/or other financial certifications is a plus.
At least 3 years of professional experience is desirable.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with employees at all levels
Strong Analytical Skills
Be open to new ideas, rapid change and embracing new technologies
Experience in a Shared Service Centre of a multinational corporation or BPO
Experience in a Global Account to Report function of a large multi-state company
Ability to handle ambiguity and fluid situations, demonstrating a pragmatic approach
Successfully manage multiple priorities, be very organized and work efficiently to tight deadlines
Solid US GAAP accounting knowledge
Proficient in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and MS Office in particular Excel
OTHER DETAILS
Shift – Mid / Night shift
Hybrid Work Setup - 2-3x a week onsite work (in Paranaque)
Target Start Date: ASAP
