About the role

We are seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team at ELECTROKONSTRUCT CONSTRUCTION & ENGINEERING MAINTENANCE. As a Mechanical Engineer with HVAC expertise, you will play an important role in the building industry, ensuring the design, installation, and operation of HVAC/R systems are properly fitted to meet the required specifications for old buildings being retrofitted as well as newly constructed buildings. This is a full-time position based in Antipolo City Rizal.

What you'll be doing

• Design HVAC systems for buildings like offices, clinics, and homes
• Manage humidity and maintain air quality
• Consider the structure, temperature control needs, and power output for each project
• Collaborate with other construction specialists
• Follow local and state regulations and building codes
• Oversee the fabrication and testing of systems
• Research and develop emerging technologies

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering 
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar mechanical engineering role, preferably in the construction or engineering industry
• Proficient in the use of CAD software and other engineering design tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices
• Adaptability and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
