About the role

• We are seeking a talented CAD Operator/Designer to join our team at AM Group Kitchen Equipment and Supplies Inc. in Makati City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time opportunity for an individual with expertise in architectural drafting and design using CAD software. You will play a crucial role in supporting our kitchen equipment and supplies business by producing detailed technical drawings and designs. 

What you'll be doing

• Design commercial kitchen spaces using CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp)
• Kitchen equipment designs for Hotels experience is an advantage
• Create detailed drawings and renderings of kitchen layouts, including equipment placement, plumbing, and electrical systems
• Collaborate with project managers and architects to ensure designs meet client requirements and building codes
• Conduct site visits to assess existing kitchen spaces and identify opportunities for improvement
• Develop 3D models and animations to visualize kitchen designs and present to clients
• Work with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and provide design recommendations accordingly
• Maintain accurate records of design specifications, materials, and costs
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in commercial kitchen design

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar CAD Operator/Designer role, preferably within the architectural, construction, or manufacturing industries
• Proficient in the use of AutoCAD and other CAD software, with a strong understanding of 2D and 3D design principles
• Excellent technical drawing and sketching skills, with the ability to interpret design requirements and translate them into precise CAD drawings
• Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards related to kitchen equipment and supplies
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
