The Pollution Control / Safety Officer will be responsible for implementing and overseeing environmental and safety protocols, ensuring compliance with national and local regulations, and minimizing the environmental impact of the commissary operations. This includes monitoring pollution levels, managing waste disposal, conducting safety audits, and promoting a culture of health and safety across the company. He/She will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and sustainable work environment for all employees and ensuring the company meets all environmental compliance standards.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field is preferred.
• 1-5 years of experience in environmental health and safety, pollution control, or a similar role, preferably in the food production or manufacturing industry.
• Certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Occupational Health and Safety Technician (OHST), or Environmental Professional (CEP) are a plus.
• Experience with environmental compliance and pollution control systems specific to food production, including handling waste management, air/water quality, and chemical safety.
