Job Title: Sales Manager – Manufacturing

Location: Quezon City

Department: Sales / Business Development

Reports to: General Manager / President

Employment Type: Full-Time


Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to lead and scale our sales operations within the manufacturing industry. This role is responsible for planning and executing strategic sales initiatives, building and managing a high-performing sales team, and growing our client base in domestic and international markets.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in B2B industrial sales, excellent leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of manufacturing products, supply chains, and client needs across sectors such as construction (depending on your industry).


Key Responsibilities:


Sales Strategy & Planning

  • Develop comprehensive sales plans to align with business goals and revenue targets.
  • Define clear sales objectives, pricing strategies, and performance metrics.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor strategies, and customer demands to adjust sales tactics accordingly.


Team Management

  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of sales executives, account managers, and telemarketers.
  • Set individual and team performance targets; conduct regular reviews and coaching sessions.
  • Motivate the team through KPIs, incentives, and ongoing support to drive productivity.


Client Acquisition & Relationship Management

  • Identify, target, and engage new B2B clients through direct outreach, networking, and partnerships.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with key accounts by understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.
  • Handle negotiations and close high-value deals with clients such as distributors, OEMs, wholesalers, and industrial buyers.


Cross-Departmental Collaboration

  • Work closely with production, logistics, engineering, and marketing to ensure alignment between supply and demand.
  • Provide sales input into production forecasting, product development, and pricing models.
  • Ensure smooth customer onboarding, fulfillment, and after-sales service coordination.


Reporting & Analytics:

  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports, dashboards, and performance analyses.
  • Monitor pipeline activity, lead conversion rates, and customer acquisition costs.
  • Present performance metrics and insights to senior leadership.


Market Expansion & Representation

  • Explore new sales channels, territories, or industry sectors for business development.
  • Represent the company at trade fairs, exhibitions, conferences, and client site visits.
  • Promote brand visibility and credibility in local and international markets.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of sales experience, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership role in manufacturing or industrial B2B sales.
  • Demonstrated experience managing a sales team and achieving sales targets.
  • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing workflows, product lifecycles, and technical specifications.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, Excel, and sales forecasting tools.
  • Strong business acumen, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Willingness to travel nationally or internationally as required.


Preferred Skills & Competencies:

  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Experience selling to government (DPWH), construction, etc.
  • Technical aptitude to understand product specs, drawings, and production processes.
  • Strong presentation and proposal development skills.
