Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy

• 1–2 years accounting experience in real estate, construction, or related industries is an advantage

• Basic understanding of accrual accounting

• Knowledge of CIP, revenue recognition, and project costing is an advantage

• Familiar with BIR compliance and Philippine accounting practices

• Proficient in Excel; experience with accounting software is a plus

• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines

• Can start Immediately

Key Responsibilities

General Accounting

• Maintain and update general ledger accounts

• Prepare and record journal entries, including accruals, prepaid amortization, depreciation, and other adjusting entries

• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities

Project & Construction Accounting

• Maintain Construction in Progress (CIP) schedules per project

• Assist in tracking cost vs budget per housing project

Accounts Payable & Receivable

• Monitor accounts payable and payment schedules

• Monitoring accounts receivable aging

Bank & Account Reconciliations

• Perform internal bank reconciliations

• Reconcile selected internal GL accounts and investigate variances

Tax & Compliance Support

• Assist in preparation of BIR requirements (VAT/Non-VAT, EWT, withholding taxes)

• Support government compliance and audit requirements as needed

• Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare basic financial reports and schedules for management

• Maintain organized accounting records and supporting documents
