The Opportunity

Join a dynamic, fast-growing EdTech company with operations in both the UK and US. In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting our client’s finance and accounting functions while being part of Pivotl’s expanding global team. With Pivotl taking the lead in managing the client’s finance department, you’ll gain valuable exposure to international operations, cutting-edge tools, and best practices across two major markets.

We have two openings available for driven accounting professionals who are eager to take on greater responsibility, make an impact, and grow their careers within both the client organization and Pivotl Solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts accurately
• Produce timely and accurate monthly financial statements and special reports in accordance with applicable standards
• Manage the month-end close process, including preparing work papers, journal entries, and posting bank and credit card transactions
• Ensure proper and compliant revenue recognition
• Verify all expenses are accurately captured in the correct period and account
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Review monthly actuals versus budget
• Assist with audit preparation and tax filings
• Process payroll for the entire organization
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)
• Minimum of 5 years of full-time professional accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP / IFRS and financial analysis best practices
• Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Proactive, innovative, and hands-on attitude
• Experience with data validation and management

Technical & Bonus Skills

• Proficient in Xero
• Experience with UK or US-based companies (a plus)
• CPA license preferred but not required
• Advanced Excel skills (comfortable maintaining complex spreadsheets)
• Experience with Google Workspace
• Strong technical aptitude and comfort with modern accounting tools

Additional Information:

This role follows a night shift schedule to align with UK and US (EST) business hours, offering the opportunity to collaborate closely with international teams and gain hands-on experience in a truly global work environment.

Compensation

₱50,000 – ₱70,000 per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
