• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including the general ledger
• Preparing financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, on a monthly and annual basis
• Conducting account reconciliations and analysing financial data to identify trends and discrepancies
• Assisting with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and other financial reports
• Knowledgeable in the Philippines Tax computation and BIR Filings
• Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies
• Supporting the finance team in special projects and ad-hoc tasks as required

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• Non-CPA or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent professional certification
• CPA certification preferred but not required, or equivalent professional qualification
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the Accounting & Reporting industry
• Experience in service industries or professional services firms highly valued
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, standards, and best practices
• Proficient in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with Philippine BIR regulations, VAT filings, and withholding tax computations
