About the Role:

Start Out Savvy is a boutique New Zealand accounting + money mentoring brand that makes numbers fun (yes, really).

We help service-based business owners understand their money, pay themselves properly, and grow profit with confidence.

We’re looking for a detail-driven, proactive Bookkeeper / Operations Assistant to help streamline our internal systems, manage GST workflows, and keep our team running smoothly.


Your Key Responsibilities

  • Update and maintain GST + Xero Practice Manager (XPM) workflows
  • Chase clients for missing info and keep job statuses accurate
  • Save and organise client files in Google Drive
  • Coordinate simple team tasks and follow up progress
  • Assist with bookkeeping support and data accuracy checks
  • Provide a short weekly update on completed / pending work

Details

  • Hours: 12-18 hrs per week (more for the right person)
  • Contract: 3-month trial, extendable
  • Schedule: Flexible, must overlap 3–4 hours/day with NZ business hours
  • Start: TBD
