About the Role

The Senior Accounting Officer is responsible for overseeing and managing the Company’s accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, timely reporting, and compliance with accounting standards and government regulations. This role works closely with management and provides guidance to accounting staff. This is an onsite role, and the employee is required to report to the Company’s office in the Taguig/Marikina area and comply with all company rules, policies, and procedures.


Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and review daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger transactions.

• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial records, journals, and ledgers.

• Prepare, review, and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

• Conduct and review bank reconciliations, cash flow monitoring, and expense analysis.

• Ensure timely and accurate BIR filings, tax compliance, and other statutory requirements.

• Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and regulatory agencies as needed.

• Review and approve vouchers, billing statements, and payment requests in accordance with internal controls.

• Provide guidance, oversight, and support to junior accounting staff.

• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and operational procedures.

• Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned by management.


Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.

• At least 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a senior or supervisory role.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and Philippine tax regulations.

• Proficient in MS Excel and accounting or ERP systems.

• Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Willing to work onsite in the Taguig/Marikina area.

• Able to handle confidential information with integrity.

• Strong communication, leadership, and coordination skills.

• Strong time management and decision-making abilities.

• CPA license is an advantage but not required.

• Experience in audit coordination, budgeting, and financial analysis.

• Familiarity with Philippine government agencies (BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG).
