About the role

• Firstlead Inc. is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our dynamic team in our Capitol Pasig City office. In this critical role, you will oversee the full accounting cycle and financial reporting for our growing organization. This is a full-time position with opportunities for career progression.

What you'll be doing

• Manage the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses to support business decision-making
• Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets
• Liaise with external auditors and tax authorities to ensure timely and accurate reporting
• Supervise and mentor the Accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement efficient accounting practices

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar Accounting Manager or Senior Accountant role
• Proficient in financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, standards, and regulations
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
• Proven experience in leading and developing high-performing teams
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
