The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the company’s accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements, and effective internal controls. This role leads the accounting team, manages financial processes, and supports management in financial planning and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations including AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Monitor cash flow, bank reconciliations, and financial controls
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory agencies
• Ensure timely filing of tax returns and statutory reports
• Supervise and develop accounting staff
• Implement and improve accounting systems, procedures, and internal controls
• Review cost controls, expense monitoring, and profitability analysis
• Provide financial reports and recommendations to management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred
• At least 4–6 years of relevant accounting experience, with 2–3 years in a managerial or supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial reporting
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and audit management
• Proficient in accounting systems and MS Excel
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
