We are looking for a highly experienced Accounting Manager with over 10+ years of progressive accounting and financial management experience. This individual will be responsible for leading all aspects of the accounting function, including financial reporting, compliance, internal controls, budgeting, and team leadership. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong technical background, demonstrated leadership, and the ability to drive continuous improvement in financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee full-cycle accounting operations including GL, AR, AP, payroll, tax compliance, and financial reporting.
• Lead and manage month-end and year-end close processes with accuracy and efficiency.
• Prepare and present detailed financial reports and analysis to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and relevant statutory regulations.
• Direct and coordinate the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts; compare actual results with budgeted forecasts and analyze variances.
• Develop, implement, and enforce accounting policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency and internal controls.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities.
• Mentor and supervise the accounting team, fostering a high-performance culture and encouraging professional development.
• Lead or support ERP system upgrades, accounting automation, or digital transformation initiatives.
• Provide financial insight and strategic recommendations to support business growth and decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 
• CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification.
• Minimum of 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 5 years in a senior or managerial leadership role.
• Deep understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.
• Experience managing complex accounting operations.
• Strong experience with ERP/accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar platforms.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Demonstrated history of driving process improvements and implementing best practices in accounting functions.
• Amenable to work in Calderon St. Mandaluyong City.
