Supervising Accounting Staff: Directly manage and oversee the work of accounting staff, including assigning tasks, providing guidance, and conducting performance evaluations.

Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and reconciliations to ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.

Internal Controls: Establish and maintain internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial data.

Audit Support: Coordinate and participate in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations as required.

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and efficiency improvements within the accounting function.

Compliance: Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional certification such as CPA or CMA is often preferred.

Experience: Typically requires 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems and Quickbooks, advanced knowledge of GAAP and International financial reporting standards (IFRS)

Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to interpret complex financial data and provide meaningful insights.
