Huayu & KJ Supply & Leasing Corp. is a fast-growing company engaged in construction materials supply, heavy equipment leasing, and large-scale infrastructure support across the Philippines. We are expanding our Finance & Accounting Division and are looking for a CPA Senior Accountant to lead our accounting operations.

Position: CPA – Senior Accountant (Team Lead)

Department: Finance & Accounting

Location: BGC, Taguig

Work Setup: Onsite

Reports to: CFO and CEO

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting Leadership & Oversight

• Lead and supervise the accounting team (GL Accountant, AP/AR, Cashier, Cost Accountant).
• Review and validate all accounting outputs for accuracy and compliance.
• Establish strong internal controls and SOPs for daily, monthly, and annual workflows.

2. General Ledger & GAAP Compliance

• Maintain and oversee the general ledger, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and cut-off adherence.
• Ensure all financial reporting complies with Philippine GAAP (and US GAAP exposure is a plus).
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.

3. Financial Reporting & Audit

• Prepare and finalize Financial Statements: Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow.
• Perform variance analysis, accruals, deferrals, and adjustments.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory agencies.

4. Tax & Statutory Compliance

• Ensure 100% timely filing of VAT, EWT, Income Tax, and other BIR submissions.
• Review and check all compliance documents and schedules.
• Oversee SEC, LGU, Barangay, and regulatory filings for Huayu & KJ.

5. Operational Accounting

• Oversee AP & AR reconciliations, project-based accounting, cost analysis, and bank reconciliations.
• Review payroll journals, employee reimbursements, and intercompany accounts.
• Implement continuous improvements to accounting systems and processes.

Qualifications

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – REQUIRED
• At least 5–7 years relevant experience;
• Prefer 2+ years in a senior/supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of Philippine GAAP, internal controls, and full-cycle accounting
• Experience with general ledger management and financial audits
• Highly capable in FS preparation, consolidation, and variance analysis
• Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills
• Experience in construction, heavy equipment, or logistics industry is a plus
• Experience with ERPNext or Oracle Netsuite is an advantage (training provided)
