We are looking for an Assistant Accounting Manager to support the oversight of daily accounting operations and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• General Accounting: Record, review, and maintain financial transactions in the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
• Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process supplier invoices, monitor receivables, manage outstanding balances, and ensure timely payments and collections.
• Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and ensure alignment between bank statements and company records.
• Audit Support: Assist in internal and external audits by preparing schedules, reports, and supporting documentation.
• Payroll & Compliance Support: Provide support in payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant tax, labor, and regulatory requirements.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy (BS Accountancy).
• Minimum of 3 years of auditing experience.
• Experience in manufacturing companies is preferred.
• Familiarity with PEZA processing and compliance is an advantage.
• Payroll processing experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes.
• High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficient in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
