Responsibilities:

1.      Prepare and analyze financial statements (income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements).

2.      Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.

3.      Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.

4.      Oversee journal entries and adjustments to ensure accuracy.

5.      Supervise the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

6.      Ensure timely processing of invoices and payments.

7.      Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.

8.      Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts.

9.      Develop and implement effective internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.

10. Conduct periodic reviews to ensure compliance with established controls and procedures.

11.   Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and legislation, corrective actions and knowledge.

12.   Coordinate and assist with internal and external audits.

13.   Prepare and file tax returns.

14.   Liaise with external tax advisors for complex tax issues.

15.   Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies and recommend

16.   Provide financial insights and recommendations to management.

17.   Mentor and guide junior accountants/accounting personnel.

18.   Conduct training sessions to improve the team's accounting skills and

19.   Coordinating and assisting with audit preparations.


Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Financial Management, other related fields
  2. Computer Literate (Proficiency in MS Softwares/Google Suites and Workspaces
  3. Proficient in English language and has good communication skills ( Written and Verbal)
  4. Proficiency in Accounting Softwares especially Xero
  5. Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  6. At least 2-3 years of experience in Accounting profession
  7. Proficient in word processing and spreadsheet software
  8. Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  9. Demonstrated ability to lead a team
  10. Strong understanding of local tax regulations and foreign exchanges
  11. Experience in Bookeeping and Finacial Reports
