Role: Revenue Recovery Specialist

Work Arrangement: Work From Office

Location: Philippines - Ortigas

Schedule: Night shift

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Review and analyze aging reports to identify unpaid or underpaid claims
• Follow up with insurance companies and third-party payers to resolve outstanding balances
• Submit appeals, demands and rebuttals
• Communicate with patients and internal departments to resolve billing issues
• Document all activities and maintain accurate records in the EHR/PM system
• Monitor trends in denials and reimbursement delays and escalate as appropriate
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all applicable regulations
• Meet or exceed productivity and quality standards

Qualification and requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 2+ years of experience in medical billing, AR follow-up, or revenue recovery
• Experience with commercial payers required
• IDR Recovery efforts, preferred
• Knowledge of healthcare billing and reimbursement processes
• Familiarity with EOBs, remittance advice, and payer portals
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
• Experience with billing software and EHR systems
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
