The Billing Assistant will handle day-to-day billing operations to ensure accurate, timely, and complete preparation of invoices and payment records. This role supports the Finance/Accounting team in maintaining organized billing files, verifying documentation, coordinating with internal teams, and addressing client billing inquiries in a professional manner. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to work with deadlines.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and issue accurate invoices to clients in a timely manner
  • Verify billing details, supporting documents, and client information before processing
  • Monitor and record payments, receipts, and billing adjustments
  • Maintain up-to-date billing files, logs, and documentation
  • Coordinate with the operations/sales team regarding billing requirements and discrepancies
  • Follow up with clients on outstanding invoices in a polite and professional manner
  • Respond to billing-related inquiries and provide necessary assistance
  • Assist in generating billing reports for management review
  • Support the accounting team during audits or month-end closing
  • Perform other administrative or finance-related tasks as required


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
  • Experience in billing, accounting, or administrative work is an advantage
  • Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word)
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work with deadlines and handle multiple tasks
