The Account Officer is the primary contact point for our clients, responsible for maintaining strong relationships, understanding their business objectives, and ensuring clear, efficient communication flow. This role is essential for translating client needs into actionable agency briefs and ensuring campaign execution aligns perfectly with client expectations.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Client Relationship Management: Act as the face of the agency to assigned clients, fostering trust, building rapport, and ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.
  • Communication Bridge: Serve as the critical liaison between the client and various internal teams (e.g., Digital Strategists, PR Specialists, Creative Teams), facilitating the seamless exchange of information, feedback, and deliverables.
  • Needs Assessment: Proactively identify and understand client goals, challenges, and campaign expectations to guide internal teams effectively and present strategic solutions.
  • Project Oversight: Manage timelines and ensure milestones are communicated clearly to the client and adhered to by the agency, escalating potential issues as necessary.
  • Reporting: Present campaign reports, results, and strategic recommendations to clients in a professional and compelling manner.
  • Administrative Support: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all client communications, project scopes, and contractual agreements.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience in a client-facing role within the Marketing, Public Relations, or Communications industry.
  • Ideal candidate has a background working directly for a media organization or an advertising agency.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly to both clients and internal teams.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities, capable of handling multiple client accounts and projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate, resolve conflicts, and maintain professionalism under pressure.
