The Night Auditor is responsible for overseeing the hotel’s front desk operations during the overnight shift, ensuring smooth guest service, and performing end-of-day financial reconciliation. The role requires accuracy in balancing accounts, posting room charges, and preparing daily reports while maintaining a welcoming and secure environment for guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist guests during late check-ins, check-outs, and inquiries.
• Perform daily closing procedures, including verifying and balancing room charges, transactions, and payments.
• Reconcile guest accounts, process credit card settlements, and ensure all charges are correctly posted.
• Prepare and distribute end-of-day financial reports to management.
• Monitor the hotel lobby, entrances, and security systems during the night shift.
• Handle guest requests, complaints, and emergencies professionally and promptly.
• Assist with reservations, room assignments, and walk-in guest check-ins.
• Maintain accurate records of occupancy, revenues, and shift activities.
• Ensure all cash, keys, and confidential documents are properly secured.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments regarding early check-ins or special guest needs.
• Follow hotel policies, procedures, and safety standards at all times.
