Technical Director duties and responsibilities

The responsibilities and duties of a Technical Director are slightly different depending upon the specific types of production. However, their main duties and responsibilities include:

• Overseeing each production project’s life cycle from beginning to end by emphasising technical resource efficiency and soundness
• Researching and introducing new technologies for the executive management team and employees of an organisation
• Providing technical support for events, programs and productions
• Developing and revising statements of work with accurate cost and time estimates
• Collaborating with the design team to create mockups and technical drawings for customer approval
• Explaining the technical requirements to the different teams involved in a production
• Analysing user requirements and metrics to ensure customer satisfaction upon completion of the production
• Assisting with the creation of in-house standards and monitoring quality during productions to make improvements, where necessary

• Graduate of BS / BA in Accounting

• Certified Public Accountant 

• Certified Internal Auditor or Certified Information System Auditor preferred

• At least four (4) years audit experience, through public accounting/auditing (Big 3 plus) and/or industry experience

• Good communication skills (oral and written), including the ability to write audit reports in a clear and concise manner. 

• Strong analytical skills

• Detail oriented and conscientious 

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with individuals at different levels of the organization.

• Can work with minimal supervision

• Sound understanding of risk management concepts and internal controls systems or frameworks such as COBIT or COSO.

• Knowledgeable in Philippine accounting standards

• Knowledgeable in technology tools such as MS Office and Visio.
