Position: Chief Mechanic

ALTASERV INC.

Location: Paranaque City

Responsible for the overall maintenance, repair, and reliability of our entire fleet, machinery, or equipment. Will manage the day-to-day operations of the maintenance, including scheduling, parts inventory, technical training, and quality control.

• Oversee all maintenance and repair activities for vehicles, diesel engines, equipment, etc.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Develop, implement, and manage a robust Preventive Maintenance (PM) program to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of assets.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with company standards, safety regulations (OSHA, MSHA, etc.), and industry codes.
• Generate regular reports on equipment reliability, maintenance costs, and team productivity for management review.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience as a mechanic, with at least [2-3] years in a supervisory or Chief Mechanic role.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required. Relevant technical certification or degree (e.g., Master Mechanic certification, AAS in Diesel Technology, Trade School certification) is highly preferred.
• Proven proficiency in related equipment, hydraulic systems, vehicle electrical systems, PLC/controls.
