Job Responsibilities

1. Design, build, maintain, and optimize backend services and APIs following industry best practices and coding standards.

2.Lead and participate in architectural and technical design discussions to create scalable and maintainable backend solutions.

3.Perform unit and integration testing, investigate complex issues, and ensure backend components meet performance, security, and reliability requirements.

4.Break down high-level requirements into detailed technical tasks; take ownership of end-to-end implementation.

5.Mentor junior and mid-level developers; conduct code reviews and ensure code quality and consistency across the team.

6.Collaborate with cross-functional teams—onsite or remote—to integrate backend components, resolve technical issues, and coordinate development efforts.

7.Utilize and learn tools, frameworks, APIs, and internal systems as required; maintain clear and updated technical documentation.

8. Continuously improve backend performance, identify bottlenecks, and introduce enhancements to improve system stability and efficiency.

Qualifications:

1.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field preferred (or equivalent work experience).

2. 6–10 years of hands-on experience in backend development using modern backend languages and frameworks (e.g., Java/Spring Boot, Node.js, Python, .NET, Go, etc.)

3. Strong understanding of backend architecture, API design (REST), and microservices.

4. Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills, including performance optimization and troubleshooting.

5. Experience with relational databases and SQL (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL); familiarity with NoSQL databases is a plus.

6. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, unit/integration testing, and version control (Git).

7. Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

8. Willing to work onsite in BGC, Taguig City, and render overtime when needed.
