The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving beverages, interacting with guests, and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable bar experience. Duties include mixing drinks according to standard recipes, recommending beverages, maintaining bar cleanliness, managing inventory, and handling cash or POS transactions. The Bartender will also ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and liquor regulations while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
• Greeting and engaging with guests at the bar
• Taking and serving drink orders efficiently
• Ensuring proper bar setup, cleanliness, and organization
• Checking identification and following liquor laws responsibly
• Restocking ingredients, glassware, and bar supplies
• Assisting with bar inventory and stock rotation
• Maintaining professionalism during busy service hours

Job Requirements

• Knowledge of basic bartending techniques and standard drink recipes
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to handle POS transactions and cash payments
• Good multitasking skills, especially during busy hours
• Neat appearance and a professional demeanor
• Able to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment
• Willing to work shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays
• Previous experience as a bartender or bar staff is an advantage
