- Lead troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and automation systems, ensuring safe and efficient plant operations.
- Diagnose and service motor controls, PLCs, inverters, and related automation components, interpreting schematic diagrams and electrical plans accurately.
- Plan, perform, and oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs to reduce equipment downtime and extend machine lifespan.
- Act as a junior supervisor, guiding and mentoring technicians, delegating tasks, and monitoring work quality and safety compliance.
- Support the installation, commissioning, and testing of new equipment, as well as system upgrades and process improvement projects.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve equipment issues and recommend efficiency and safety improvements.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, equipment history, troubleshooting logs, and repair reports in compliance with company standards.
- Maintain detailed records of spare parts usage, equipment performance data, and preventive maintenance schedules using company systems (e.g., CMMS).
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures, and regulatory compliance during all maintenance activities.
- Assist in spare parts inventory management, ensuring availability of critical components for uninterrupted operations.
