The AutoCAD Operator is responsible for producing accurate fabrication drawings, shop drawings, cutting lists, and installation layouts for premium uPVC and aluminum door and window systems. This role works closely with the design, production, and installation teams to ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, system standards, and installation requirements, supporting an efficient workflow and successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed shop drawings for uPVC and aluminum door and window systems.
• Create fabrication drawings, including profiles, reinforcements, hardware locations, and glass details.
• Develop cutting lists, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and material schedules for production.
• Interpret architectural drawings and convert them into system-specific CAD drawings.
• Revise and update drawings based on engineering instructions or project changes.
• Ensure all drawings comply with system specifications.
• Collaborate with project engineers and sales teams to resolve technical queries.
• Prepare installation layout drawings, including sill details, fixing methods, and interface details.
• Maintain drawing documentation, version control, and proper file organization.
• Assist in resolving technical issues related to profiles, hardware, glazing, and opening types.

Skills and Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD 2D; knowledge of 3D CAD platforms is an advantage.
• Experience with uPVC and aluminum systems, including profiles, hardware, and accessories.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural plans.
• Knowledge of fabrication standards and installation details for high-end door and window systems.
• High accuracy and attention to detail in dimensioning and annotation.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to coordinate across departments.
• Knowledge of thermal, acoustic, and structural performance requirements is an advantage.
