We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled CAD Operator to support our design and engineering teams by producing accurate and high-quality technical drawings and plans. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of CAD software, engineering principles, and drafting standards, with the ability to interpret design specifications and convert them into digital plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create, revise, and maintain technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics using CAD software (AutoCAD, etc.).
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, or designers to understand project specifications and translate them into drawings.
• Ensure drawings comply with company and industry standards, codes, and regulations.
• Update and archive drawings as needed for record-keeping and version control.
• Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to design intent.
• Assist in preparing documentation and materials for presentations or permits.
• Coordinate with other departments to integrate structural, mechanical, electrical, and architectural components.
• Maintain knowledge of industry trends, CAD technologies, and drafting techniques.

Requirements:

• Associate degree or certification in Drafting, CAD Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, etc.).
• 1–3 years of experience in CAD drafting or a related role (may vary by level).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, drawings, and blueprints.
• Knowledge of construction or manufacturing processes is a plus.
• Good communication and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experienced with 3D modeling and rendering.
• Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) processes.
• Experienced working in construction firm is a strong reference.

Work Environment:

• Typically office-based, with potential site visits depending on the project.
