- Customer Service: Provide excellent service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with purchases in a friendly and professional manner.
- Cash Handling: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, credit/debit card payments, and provide correct change.
- Inventory Support: Assist in restocking and organizing merchandise, ensuring the cashier area is clean and well-maintained.
- Product Scanning: Operate a register, scan items, and ensure correct pricing and promotions are applied.
- Transaction Documentation: Maintain accurate records of sales, returns, and exchanges, and ensure compliance with store policies and procedures.
- Previous Cashiering Experience: Experience in retail or similar customer-facing roles preferred.
- Mathematical Skills: Strong ability to handle cash and make accurate calculations quickly.
- Communication Skills: Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers effectively.
- Attention to Detail: Ensure accurate scanning of items and proper transaction processing.
- Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Able to stay organized and focused during busy periods.
