1. Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
2. Scan and process items accurately using a POS (Point-of-Sale) system.
3. Accept payments (cash, credit/debit cards, mobile payments) and give correct change.
4. Issue receipts, refunds, or exchanges as per company policy.
5. Ensure the cash drawer is balanced at the beginning and end of the shift.
6. Maintain cleanliness of the checkout area.
7. Assist in bagging items and managing queues during busy hours.
8. Answer basic customer questions and guide them to appropriate staff if needed.
9. Report any transaction issues, discrepancies, or suspicious behavior to the supervisor.
10. Follow company procedures for handling returns, coupons, and discounts.
11. May assist in stocking shelves or organizing products near the counter.

Qualifications

• Good eyesight and teeth condition
