KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement financial strategies, setting financial goals, and identifying new investment opportunities. 
• Oversee daily financial activities, including cash flow, expenses, and payments, ensuring financial policies are implemented effectively. 
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all financial statements, balance sheets, and government reports, and perform analysis to support strategic decisions. 
• Create and manage company budgets, project future financial needs, and monitor budget performance. 
• Identify financial risks and opportunities, implementing corrective actions and ensuring the company's fiscal health. 
•  Secure necessary funding and manage the company's capital structure to support growth. 
•  Build and lead a high-performing finance and accounting team, managing department heads and collaborating with other C-suite executives. 
• Advise the CEO and board of directors on all financial aspects of business decisions and company strategy. 

QUALIFICATIONS

• A Bachelor's degree in a finance-related field, such as accounting, finance, or business administration.
• A Master of Business Administration (MBA) or Master of Science in Finance (MSF) is often preferred or required.
• Professional certifications, like a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), are highly valued. 
• Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks is a must.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Willing to work on-site from Mondays to Fridays
