Prepares and cooks a variety of dim sum dishes, following recipes and quality standards, while managing a kitchen station and possibly training junior staff.
Proven experience as a Dimsum Cook or in a similar role.
Proficiency in a full range of handcrafted dim sum offerings.
Dumplings, Siomai, buns, bao and steamed specialties
Sapin-sapin, Palitaw & other pinoy kakanin
Strong knowledge in Asian kitchen operations, including stir-fried dishes, broths, noodles, and grilled items.
Excellent knife skills, dough shaping, and steaming techniques.
Ability to maintain product consistency and recipe compliance across multiple venues and service points.
Maintaining efficiency in high-volume service without compromising on presentation or quality.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and presentation.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Culinary school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts or related field.
Experience Level: Less than 1 year of experience in a professional kitchen.
Skills and Competencies: Proficient in cooking techniques, kitchen hygiene, mise-en-place, culinary skills, and dim sum preparation.
Working Conditions: Fast-paced kitchen environment with varying shifts.
