Sales Executive – Hajj & Umrah Travel Services


Educational Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Islamic Studies, or a related field (preferred).
  • Relevant certifications in travel, tourism, or religious pilgrimage services are an advantage.


Experience

  • Minimum of 1–3 years of sales experience, preferably in travel, pilgrimage services, or tour operations.
  • Prior experience handling Hajj and Umrah packages is highly preferred.
  • Experience working with Muslim clients, mosques, Islamic organizations, or religious groups is an advantage.


Knowledge & Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of Hajj and Umrah processes, including: Saudi visa requirements
  • Package inclusions (flights, hotels, transport, guides, meals)
  • Familiarity with airline booking systems, hotel reservations, and travel documentation.
  • Knowledge of Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah regulations (or willingness to learn quickly).
  • Knowledge of travel products, destinations, and booking systems is an advantage.
  • Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, and booking platforms).


Sales & Communication Skills

  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to explain pilgrimage packages clearly, respectfully, and accurately.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Customer-focused approach with empathy and patience.


Language Skills

  • Proficiency in English (required).
  • Ability to communicate in Arabic or other relevant languages is a strong advantage.


Personal Attributes

  • High level of integrity, honesty, and professionalism.
  • Respectful understanding of Islamic values and religious practices.
  • Detail-oriented and well-organized.
  • Able to work under pressure, especially during peak Hajj and Umrah seasons.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings during peak periods.
