Creating accurate cost estimates for projects, managing and controlling project budgets to stay within financial limits, tracking project expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and providing financial analysis to support project decision-making and forecasting. 

AUTHORITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Estimate cost for construction project.
• Collaborates with the design team for technical specifications.
• Coordinate with the purchasing department for price updates.
• Carry out feasibility studies to estimate materials, time and labor costs.
• Prepare and update cost database.
• Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bill of quantities and other documentation.
• Bid Evaluation, Recommendation and Rating.
• Undertake cost analysis.
• Perform risk, value engineering and cost control.
• Procure or agree the services of contractors and/or subcontractors who work on the construction of the project.
• Monitors warehouse inventory by coordination with warehouseman and records daily withdrawal of materials to obtain daily expenses. Reports to accounting department the data.
• Price/forecast the cost of the different materials needed for the project. Monitor each stage of the project to make sure that costs are in line with forecasts.
• Monitor cash flow projections and report actual cash flow and variance to senior management on a regular basis
• Keeping track of the latest developments in estimating procedures, reviewing the same by maintaining relationship with contractors, reading about current advancements techniques in business magazines and other media, visiting the site location, and meeting other professionals involved in the estimating processes.
• Supervises the Quantity Surveyor.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by the top management
