Administer, develop, test, or demonstrate databases. Perform many related database functions across one or more teams or clients, including designing, implementing and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management. Install database management systems (DBMS) and provide input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance.

THE WORK:

Oracle DBA: Migration

Knowledge in Oracle 11g to 19c database administration, parameter configurations, version difference, etc.

Good overall database build knowledge in RAC/standalone configuration, ASM/local filesystem setup and Exadata environment.

Knowledge and experience in backup, restoration, and refresh strategies using RMAN and datapump.

Experience in dataguard setup.

Good knowledge in database patching, database registry and sys objects rebuild.

Work experience in database replatform, scope identification, planning and impact analysis in terms of database objects, compatibilities, and application-specific setups.

Knowledgeable in database objects such as tables, indexes and materialized views, etc.

Good working knowledge on oracle binaries installation, directory configuration, TNS files, parameter files and oracle client setup.

Experience in golden gate replication setup and decommission.
