We are looking for a MongoDB Database Administrator to provide BAU support for MongoDB environments across Asia. This role requires extensive experience in installation, configuration, and administration of MongoDB clusters, ensuring database performance, security, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support for MongoDB, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain MongoDB clusters (on-premise and Atlas) and ensure optimal performance.
• Plan and perform MongoDB upgrades, backups, and recovery.
• Implement proactive monitoring, tuning, and maintenance procedures.
• Manage replication, sharding, and scaling across data centers.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term corrective measures.
• Support 24x7 operations with on-call and weekend availability as needed.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in MongoDB administration and configuration.
• Experience with standalone, replication, sharding, and clustering setups.
• Proficient in performance tuning, version upgrades, and database migrations.
• Strong knowledge of MongoDB OpsManager tool.
• Skilled in query optimization and data realignment.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and on-call duties.
