The Design & CAD Specialist plays a key technical and creative role in transforming landscape architecture concepts into accurate, buildable digital models and detailed drawing sets. This role supports the design team by producing 2D and 3D visuals that drive both design development and construction documentation—bridging concept and execution.

Key Responsibilities

2D Drafting & Documentation

• Develop precise CAD drawings including site plans, grading plans, planting plans, and construction details.
• Support design development and construction documentation with technical accuracy.

3D Modeling & Visualization

• Build and manage 3D digital models using SketchUp or other modeling platforms.
• Integrate architectural, civil, and topographical data to create holistic site representations.
• Collaborate with visualization specialists for presentation-ready outputs.

Technical Expertise & Design Support

• Support design exploration by creating quick sketch models and developing details alongside evolving designs.
• Enhance model visuals using rendering and post-production tools (e.g., Photoshop, Lumion, After Effects, or equivalent).

Quality Control

• Maintain high visual and technical standards across outputs.
• Refine models and drawings based on team feedback and design evolution.

Collaboration

• Work closely with landscape architects and designers to interpret design intent and translate it into buildable outputs.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (visualization, architecture, engineering) for seamless integration.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, or a related design/engineering field
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in CAD drafting and 3D modeling
• Proficiency in SketchUp and AutoCAD and at least one 3D rendering tool
• Strong attention to detail and ability to convert abstract concepts into technical drawings
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Prior experience in architecture or urban design setting, ideally with a focus on tropical or nature-integrated projects
• Appreciation for sustainable design and green spaces

Work Setup:

• Hybrid work setup (3x on site per week)
• Flexible work schedule between 8AM - 7PM
