We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for dishes, glassware, tableware, cooking utensils, and other kitchen equipment. This position also assists in general cleaning tasks and supports overall kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwasher or by hand as needed.
• Ensure all cleaned items are properly sanitized, dried, and stored.
• Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing station, kitchen equipment, and other assigned areas.
• Remove trash and recycling, and ensure proper waste disposal.
• Assist with receiving and organizing kitchen deliveries.
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor.
• Assist cooks and kitchen staff as needed with prep work and cleaning tasks.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.

Requirements:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong attention to detail and hygiene standards.
• Team player with a positive attitude.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a dishwasher or in a kitchen setting is a plus.
• Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation standards.
