What is the Duty Manager, USU role in 1Aviation?
Assist the Station Manager/Terminal Manager in managing and monitoring operational performance of the Station.
What Will You Do
Ensures that 1Aviation’s Vision, Mission and Values are achieved.
Ensure the station’s manpower, funds and equipment is sufficient to support daily operations.
Promote and ensure compliance of all personnel to quality, safety, security, and customer service standards based on regulatory requirements, government laws, acceptable industry standards and company policies and standards.
Investigates and submits reports on administrative cases, irregularities, or other operational incidents.
Provides corrective and preventive actions to discrepancies and delays charged to his assigned areas.
Conduct daily briefings/de−briefings and cascading of Station Notices and Memos for all personnel and all corrective and preventive actions of encountered events where applicable.
Coordinate with HCC and/or NCC−AS for planned/unplanned flight delays/disruptions and possible aircraft changes.
Monitors station facilities (e.g. carrier system/gate, counter FIDS, baggage conveyors, cargo warehouse) and reports the same to the Airport Management and Terminal Manager/Station Manager/Manager.
Monitors and ensures smooth departure and arrival operations. Attends guest service issues (e.g. LCI, ancillary products, DG items, cargo discrepancies etc.) and provides immediate solutions based on established policies and procedures of the carrier.
Ensures that timely and correct information is provided and disseminated by ground staff to shippers, consignees, and departing/arriving guests.
Manage day−to−day disruptions within authorized parameters and established policies and escalate to higher station management, items beyond his/her authority.
Collates, validates, and submits daily shift reports to the Terminal Manager/Station Manager/Manager.
Attend and provide operational enhancements during Station Meetings chaired by Terminal Manager/Station Manager/Manager.
Ensure guests and personnel's security is maintained within the operation areas.
Identify safety hazards and take action to eliminate any safety issues or unsafe practices.
Coordinate with concerned stations and departments on passenger and cargo related concerns.
Ensure timely coding and update of flight movement information.
Performs specific function that may be assigned by the Immediate Superior.
An Ideal candidate for this role should possess the following:
Must be a college graduate
At least 2 years’ experience in the related field
Leadership Skills
Good analytical knowledge in problem−solving
Service and goal oriented
Good execution of the English language
