The Electrician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and production equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations of GEM Corporation’s food-manufacturing facility. This position is on-call and reports directly to the Building Administrator under the HR Department.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, control panels, motors, and production machinery.
• Perform preventive maintenance and keep accurate service records.
• Ensure compliance with the Philippine Electrical Code and food-industry safety standards.
• Respond promptly to emergency electrical issues outside regular hours.
• Coordinate with the Building Admin/HR Department for maintenance schedules and reporting.

Qualifications

• PRC-licensed Registered Master Electrician (RME) or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in industrial or food-manufacturing facilities.
• Knowledge of PLCs, industrial motors, and three-phase systems is an advantage.
• Ability to work flexible/on-call schedules and render overtime when needed.
