We are seeking an experienced and strategic Engineering Manager to lead our plant’s engineering and maintenance functions. The role ensures high equipment reliability, operational excellence, and compliance with food safety and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate has extensive experience managing engineering teams, preventive maintenance programs, and technical projects in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the plant’s maintenance function, ensuring equipment reliability and uptime.
• Develop, implement, and oversee equipment preventive maintenance programs.
• Manage maintenance schedules and allocate resources for planned and unplanned repairs.
• Oversee plant modifications, upgrades, and new installations to support production requirements.
• Lead technical troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA) for equipment failures.
• Ensure engineering projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet technical specifications.
• Lead, coach, and mentor a team of maintenance technicians, engineers, and support staff.
• Manage team performance, set objectives, and support career development through training and succession planning.
• Ensure compliance with government regulatory agencies and support Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and HACCP.
• Continuously improve maintenance processes through innovation and technology adoption.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Managing Director.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in food processing or FMCG.
• At least 5 years of supervisory/managerial experience.
• Proven record in lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and breakdown reduction.
• Knowledge of Generator Sets, Power Transformers, WTF operations, and energy conservation programs.
• Knowledge of Food Safety Management Systems (GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000:2018, etc.).
• Excellent project management, interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to foster accountability and cross-departmental teamwork.
