Job Description: Full-Time Primary & Secondary School English Educator from Philippines (Work in Chongqing, China)

Schedule: approximately 40 hours per week (aligned with school schedule, including teaching, planning, and school activities).

Role Overview:

Serve as a passionate and dynamic English language educator within public and private schools in Chongqing. Your core mission is to create an engaging, immersive, and effective English learning environment for primary and/or secondary school students, fostering their confidence and competence in oral communication and foundational pedagogy.

Core Responsibilities:

1. Classroom Instruction & Preparation

(1) Deliver structured and interactive English lessons, with a strong focus on oral communication skills, following provided curricula or adapting materials to meet student needs.

(2) Invest significant time in lesson planning, resource creation, and grading to ensure high-quality educational outcomes.

(3) Immersive Language & Cultural Engagement

(4) Act as a linguistic role model, using English as the primary medium of instruction and interaction to create a rich, authentic language environment.

(5) Design and incorporate activities, games, and multimedia tools to stimulate student interest and participation.

2. Collaboration & Development

(1) Participate in school meetings, training sessions, and cultural exchange activities as required.

(2) Provide constructive feedback on student progress and maintain positive communication with school staff.

4.  Working & Living Environment

(2) Work Environment: You will be placed at one of our partner professional language training centers in Chongqing. The environment is focused, neutral, and geared towards adult or young adult learners, providing a professional setting for effective language instruction.

Mandatory Qualifications:

1. Linguistic Competence:

(1) Native-like English proficiency (from the Philippines).

(2) Clear enunciation and excellent communication skills.

2. Academic Background:

   Bachelor's degree or higher.

3. Professional Experience:

   Minimum of 2 years of working experience.

4. Personal & Legal Requirements:

(1) Filipino citizen

(2) Able to provide a clean criminal record certificate from the Philippine National Police (PNP).

(3) In good health and able to pass the standard medical check required for the Chinese work visa.

(4) Positive, adaptable, and genuinely passionate about teaching and cross-cultural exchange.

Preferred Attributes:

1. Certifications: Holding a TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or a valid teaching license is a major advantage.

2. Specialized Skills: Experience with communicative teaching methodologies, educational technology, or extracurricular activity organization.

3. Personal Qualities: High cultural adaptability, resilience, patience, and a strong sense of responsibility.
