Gigahertz, is looking for an experienced Facilities Manager to lead the maintenance, renovation, and construction efforts across its 45+ retail branches and office locations. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a background in retail fit-outs—especially in fast food chains, coffee chains, convenience stores, or similar multi-branch retail environments.


?️ Responsibilities

Store & Office Maintenance

  • Manage and supervise maintenance and minor repair work for all stores and offices.
  • Implement a preventive maintenance program covering lighting, HVAC, fixtures, and general upkeep.
  • Monitor response times to branch requests and ensure high service levels and cost efficiency.


Retail Construction & Renovations

  • Lead new store construction, major renovations, and mall fit-out projects.
  • Coordinate with architects, mall administrators, designers, and suppliers.
  • Review and compare contractor bids; negotiate terms, budgets, and timelines.
  • Ensure execution aligns with brand standards, schedules, and quality expectations.


Vendor & Contractor Management

  • Oversee vendors for aircon servicing, pest control, and general repairs.
  • Maintain a pool of reliable retail-experienced contractors and suppliers.
  • Keep accurate records of all contracts, warranties, permits, and service logs.


Budgeting & Reporting

  • Prepare annual budgets for maintenance and capital expenditures.
  • Track expenses vs. budgets and provide regular updates to leadership.
  • Recommend cost-saving strategies without compromising quality or brand.

? Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Facilities Management
  • 3–5+ years experience in facilities or construction roles for retail chains
  • (e.g., coffee shops, fast food outlets, convenience stores, or electronics stores)
  • Knowledge of mall fit-out standards, permits, and safety regulations
  • Skilled in project management, site supervision, vendor negotiation, and budget tracking
  • Proficient in reading plans and coordinating with external partners
  • Willing to travel frequently to oversee projects across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao
