Primary Function:

• Responsible for the operations and general maintenance of the plant, machinery, and associated building facilities.
• Attend to all facility works and M & E installations, as well as to coordinate with contractors on repair works.
• Conduct space planning and layout for all production equipment and other processes.
• Supervise facilities contract workforce such as: security services, waste disposal management, housekeeping cleaning services, and landscaping maintenance.

Utilities

1. Plans and schedules the plant’s requirement to ensure sufficient Power, DI Water, Fume Scrubber, Exhaust, Genset, Air Conditioning (Class 10K Clean Room Facilities), Chillers, Cooling Tower, Compressed air & dryer, Pumps, WWT Plant, N2 gas and etch is available for use.
2. Manages the company’s water treatment plant.
3. Ensures that there are sufficient compressed airs to run the equipment.
4. Plans and schedules a team of employees to provide 24 hours emergency breakdown maintenance.
5. Plans and implements cost saving programs on utilities usage for the plant. Offering high quality, cost effective and efficient services and advice.
6. Plans and schedules plant’s equipment Yearly major Preventive Maintenance activities.

Facilities

1. Overseas the overall maintenance of company facilities / buildings. Supervises the repair works to the building and ensure that everything is in good working order.
2. Worked with consultant, contractor, and government authorities in all aspect of infrastructure management and building construction.
3. Management of project for the upgrading or expansion of facilities for manufacturing requirement. (Plans, organizes and sets up line lay-out for the manufacturing floor)

Housekeeping & Gardening

1. Overseas the housekeeping is within the acceptable standard in the clean room, production floor and factory surrounding area.
2. Gardens are well kept and neat.
3. Continuously improving and upgrading the cleanliness of the plant.

Water Treatment Plant

1. Day to day operation and maintenance of the water purification plant and supply to production.
2. Effluent treatment operation of the Waste Water Treatment Plant and disposal of schedule waste in accordance with DOE’s requirement.
3. Managing and handling of environmental issues.
