Job Title: Accounting & Finance Officer – PEZA Economic Zone

Required Experience:

• BS Accountancy graduate (graduates of business-related courses may also be considered)
• 2–3 years of accounting and finance experience within a PEZA Economic Zone
• Experience in PEZA-related document processing
• Basic knowledge of Philippine taxation and BIR compliance
• Knowledge of Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Business-level English for internal and Japanese supervisor communication and report writing
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent qualification is highly preferred
• Accuracy and ability to meet deadlines
• Highly self-motivated and able to act quickly and independently

Job Description / Responsibilities:

General Accounting Duties:

• Voucher entry, invoice management
• Accounts Receivable (A/R) and Accounts Payable (A/P) management
• Cash and bank balance management and reconciliation

Financial Closing Duties:

• Coordination of monthly and annual closing procedures

Tax / PEZA-Related Duties:

• Preparation and processing of PEZA-related documents
• Preparation of tax returns based on BIR regulations (with assistance from an accounting firm)

Financial and Other Administrative Duties:

• Preparation and submission of monthly financial reports (in English) to the Japanese supervisor
• Management of payroll for 8 employees and contributions to SSS, PhilHealth, and PAG-IBIG
• Support for inventory management in collaboration with other departments
